I can’t believe it’s already Valentine’s Day! This sweet holiday definitely snuck up on us this year! Last year, my daughter had a Baked with Love playdate with one of her BFF’s, but this year, she has been sick for several days, so not only did we not have time to have a little party, we tried to keep our classroom Valentines super simple. I found these adorable plastic heart straws at Party City a few weeks back and thought they would be a cute gift for my daughter’s classmates. With clip art from Maree Truelove, I designed little tags for the straws and added a little ribbon to the heart. I used an individual hole punch for the two holes to fit the straw through the tag, which held perfectly! I was originally going to have her sign each Valentine herself {all 50 of them!}, but I gave her a break since she has been ill and trying her best to get better so she can partake in the holiday festivities at her school.
For her teachers, she is sending them hugs and kisses in little metal mailboxes to wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day!
Oh, and I just had to share these cupcake toppers I made for my sweet mother-in-law who was selected to help plan a Valentine’s Day golf tournament! I had made golf-themed toppers in the past, but I loved combining it with a loving motif! ♥
Wishing you an ex-STRAW-ordinary Valentine’s Day, full of love and happiness, sweet friends! ♥
Merci Beaucoup!
