The Sweetest Garden Party Cupcakes Tutorial

September 19, 2016 By Lynlee

Around spring and Eastertime, these adorable flower pot silicone cupcake liners begin to pop up that I have always wanted to try! But why wait until next year?!  I decided to give them a try immediately by making some adorable garden party cupcakes and I can honestly say they were just perfect!!! After baking the cupcakes in the individual cups, I decorated them with crushed Oreo cookies to resemble dirt, then finished them off with fondant critters and veggies.

Didn’t they come out so super cute?! These cupcakes would be the perfect addition to any outdoor or garden party or playdate. Then, when spring rolls around, how cute would they be at an Easter-themed party? Also, I love that the flower pots are made out of silicone, so the cupcakes can be baked directly into them and they can be saved for future use. I found the best way to eat them is with a fork or spoon, so be sure to have some utensils on-hand when serving them.

You can find the step-by-step tutorial to make the fondant decorations for the garden party cupcakes on the Craftsy blog. And be sure to see the WellieWishers garden picnic party I styled for which I made these cupcakes!

Merci Beaucoup!
