About Me

Bon­jour! My name is Lyn­lee and I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where I lived until the age of 11. The Brazil­ian par­ty atti­tude must have seeped into my blood and stuck with me all these years! My fam­i­ly and I moved to North­ern Cal­i­for­nia and after high school, I attend­ed the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia at Berke­ley, where I dou­ble-majored in Dra­mat­ic Arts and French and met my future hus­band. I spent a year study­ing at L’U­ni­ver­sité de Lyon, France {cul­ti­vat­ing my ado­ra­tion of all things French and Parisian} and upon grad­u­a­tion, began a career in the fash­ion indus­try. I spent 10 years as an Acces­sories Buy­er in South­ern Cal­i­for­nia and got mar­ried to my col­lege sweet­heart in the meantime!

We moved to Las Vegas, NV soon after the birth of our daugh­ter and have been here since. I found­ed Lyn­lee’s Petite Cakes in 2010 after throw­ing my daugh­ter’s third birth­day par­ty when my love of plan­ning par­ties, craft­ing and dec­o­rat­ing cup­cakes cul­mi­nat­ed into an unde­ni­able pas­sion! I quick­ly tran­si­tioned into the par­ty world and began mak­ing cup­cakes and fon­dant top­pers. I am self-taught and have learned through lots of tri­al and error and some suc­cess­es through­out the last cou­ple of years. I adore the feel­ing of being inspired and get­ting the cre­ative juices flow­ing, espe­cial­ly when plan­ning and styling a par­ty, and feel such a void when it’s over! But luck­i­ly, there’s always anoth­er rea­son to party!

*I am obsessed with the 80’s! So much so, I threw myself a Grow­ing up 80’s party!
*I adore every­thing Dis­ney and love noth­ing more than to share this love with my daughter!
*Fam­i­ly means EVERYTHING to me!

I now focus on pro­vid­ing inspi­ra­tion and tuto­ri­als for fon­dant and var­i­ous par­ty themes! In 2012, I launched pub­li­ca­tions to include both par­ties and fon­dant tuto­ri­als and my first book, Sweet & Unique Cup­cake Top­pers, was released in April 2014. My mis­sion is to aid in plan­ning and throw­ing an unfor­get­table and per­son­al­ized par­ty that will for­ev­er remain in the hearts of your friends and loved ones! ♥
