A Snappy Fondant Lobster Tutorial

He’s her lob­ster!  Remem­ber that episode from the Friends  series?! You know… the one where they dis­cuss how lob­sters mate for life? If you don’t, no wor­ries. I have come to terms with the fact that not every­one was as big a Friends  fan as I was, espe­cial­ly when our home was robbed years ago and they took every sin­gle DVD we owned, EXCEPT for The Best of Friends !  Well, regard­less of your tv series pref­er­ence, it seems that lob­sters have gained pop­u­lar­i­ty, not only dur­ing the Sum­mer months when out­door enter­tain­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties increase, but also for bridal show­er and wed­ding themes!

I recent­ly made a set of nau­ti­cal cup­cake top­pers for my sweet friend, Mindy from Cre­ative Juice, as she threw a nau­ti­cal-themed par­ty for her son’s birth­day. Due to his obses­sion with lob­sters and crabs, she styled the entire par­ty around it {along with adorable print­able designs from Love the Day}, which gave me the oppor­tu­ni­ty to cre­ate a fon­dant lob­ster. I can’t wait to see all the details of the celebration!
