2011 Sweet Parties: Year in Review

December 22, 2011 By Lynlee

This year has been a whirlwind of cupcakes, fondant and parties and I loved every sweet minute of it! The trend-setting and glittery Kristy at The Purple Pug recapped her year in amazing parties and so inspired me to do the same! How fun to end the year looking back at all the fabulous reasons we had to celebrate in the last 12 months!!! ♥
“Love is Sweet”
An art-themed bridal shower for one of my oldest and dearest friends!
“About to Hatch”
A baby shower for one of my bestest friends to help feather her nest to welcome her baby boy!
“All Aboard!”
A Thomas the Train-inspired party to celebrate the third birthday of one our favorite little boys!
“Finding Neverland”
My daughter’s fourth birthday party, inspired by the classic Peter Pan story!
“Silly Old Bear”
A party to celebrate all the loveable characters of the 100 Acre Woods and the release of the new “Winnie the Pooh” movie!
“What’s in a Gnome?”
A fun Summer party inspired by the animated movie “Gnomeo and Juliet”!
“Come Fly Away”
A Pan Am Airlines-inspired birthday party to celebrate my mother’s birthday and remember the “good ‘ole days”!
“Miss Piggy in Paris”
A chic party to celebrate my fancy schmancy grandmother’s birthday, inspired by the new “Muppets” movie where Miss Piggy was working as an editor for Vogue Paris!

“Mele Kalikimaka”
A tropical Christmas party for my surfer boy husband’s birthday!
I simply cannot wait for all the special events and celebrations 2012 has in store for us… and regardless, we can always find a good reason to party, right?! ♥

Merci Beaucoup!
