A Collection for a Cure

Octo­ber is Breast Can­cer Aware­ness month and it’s so amaz­ing to see the sig­na­ture pink and the sym­bol­ic rib­bon every­where to help spread the impor­tance of knowl­edge, recog­ni­tion and con­stant search for a cure… even at NFL foot­ball games! To aid in fundrais­ing efforts, Heather of Chick­abug designed a beau­ti­ful free print­able col­lec­tion to be down­loaded and uti­lized to pro­mote this impor­tant cause. To help inspire and aid in pre­sent­ing the set, Heather reached out to Chris­tine of Pure Joy Events to style a pho­to shoot and coor­di­nate with some incred­i­ble ven­dors. Chris­tine enlist­ed the help of Jen of JP Cre­at­i­bles to cre­ate breath­tak­ing cook­ies, Styl­ish Pati­na and Pear Tree Cot­tage for some gor­geous props and Xiaolu from 6 Bit­ter­sweets to pro­vide deli­cious­ly pink cup­cakes and pho­to­graph the stun­ning pic­tures that she has so gra­cious­ly offered to share below. I was extreme­ly hon­ored to have been asked to con­tribute to the shoot and more impor­tant­ly, to con­tin­ue spread­ing the word and pro­mote aware­ness for such a dev­as­tat­ing dis­ease that can affect both women and men. I am so very grate­ful to Chris­tine, Heather and all the fab­u­lous­ly tal­ent­ed ladies and hope you can uti­lize the sweet print­a­bles and inspi­ra­tion for your fundrais­ing efforts. ♥
